Spirit gives life
A father of the fatherless and a judge and protector of the widows,
Is God in His holy habitation.
God makes a home for the lonely;
He leads the prisoners into prosperity,
Only the stubborn and rebellious dwell in a parched land. – Psalm 68:5-6
If you’re parched today ask the Holy Spirit to show to you any areas of rebellion. Are you angry? Are you holding back an area that you know He wants complete control of? Are you struggling with discontentment? Ask Him to show it to you; then, take hold of the empowerment that is already inside of you and dwell in the land that He has for you in the nourishment that He has provided for such a time as this.
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
Because the Lord has anointed and commissioned me
To bring good news to the humble and afflicted;
He has sent me to bind up [the wounds of] the brokenhearted,
To proclaim release [from confinement and condemnation] to the [physical and spiritual] captives
And freedom to prisoners – Isaiah 61:1Grace to you and peace [inner calm and spiritual well-being] from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. – Ephesians 1:2

The one for whom the veil’s removed is the one who has been brought into relationship with Jesus Christ by the operation of the Holy Spirit. However, the Spirit’s work does not end with merely removing the veil. The veil’s removed so that the change will begin. – John Flavel
